Andrew and Amy Vaughan Student Symphonic FellowshipTwo Young Musicians Selected as FellowsJared Davis from Ona and David Buch from Beckley have been selected as the Student Symphonic Fellows in the Andrew and Amy Vaughan Fellowship Program through the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra (WVSO). Their selections are the result of auditions and interviews before a community panel on December 8, 2012. Davis, a senior at Cabell Midland High School, plays tuba, double bass and electric bass in musical ensembles at his school, and also participates in Tri-State Youth Orchestra and in the Bethesda Methodist Church Worship Band. Buch, a junior at Woodrow Wilson High School, is heavily involved in school academic clubs and competitions, plays tuba in the school band, and cello in the West Virginia Youth Symphony.
