Montclaire String Quartet Chamber music presented by our award-winning quartet in residence. Our principal string players present their own four-concert subscription series for the public, in addition to 60 concerts in schools throughout WV and surrounding states. All concerts performed at Kanawha United Presbyterian Church, Charleston, WV.
City National Bank Family Discovery Series
Introduce your children and grandchildren to the joys of music with this three concert series. These concerts will each last about one hour and are designed with the attention span of younger children in mind, plus they will each feature plenty of audience participation! They will be preceded by fun activities for kids of all ages in the Clay Center lobby. These concerts are a great way to share a meaningful event together across generations. All concerts performed at the Maier Foundation Performance Hall of the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia; start time is 11:00 a.m., but come any time after 10:00 a.m. to visit our Instrument Petting Zoo and other pre-concert activities! Bayer Symphony Sunday Traditionally held the first Saturday in June on the beautiful lawn of the University of Charleston, this festival incorporates a full day of activities involving performances by musical groups from throughout the community, culminating in a spectacular concert under the stars by the WV Symphony Orchestra.
